Mugo Kibati

Mugo brings a wealth of top-level management experience from both the private and public sectors.

He is an Electrical Engineer and holds a B.Tech (Electrical Engineering) Degree from Moi University (Kenya),a M.Sc. Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA) and an MBA from George Washington University (USA).

He is the immediate former Group CEO of Sanlam Kenya PLC.His previous roles include serving in the positions of DG at Kenya’s Vision 2030 Secretariat and Group MD/CEO at East African Cables PLC.

Mr. Steve Okeyo

Steve is an experienced cross-cultural business leader who has successfully handled commercial transformation assignments globally for over 20 years.He is the former Director for Regional Sales & Operations at Safaricom, where he led various teams to deliver customer growth and revenue.

Mr. Okeyo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nairobi, an MBA in Marketing from USIU-Africa and an Executive Leadership diploma from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France. Steve is also a certified Executive coach and a visiting Professor of Marketing at ALU Business School in Kigali.             


Steve Okeyo

MD, Mobile Division

Kris serves as the Managing Director of the Enterprise Division at Telkom. He has 20 years’ experience in the ICT industry having joined it in 1996. Prior to joining Telkom, Kris was the Deputy CEO at Internet Solutions (IS) Kenya formerly the Access Kenya Group. In addition, he chairs Kenya Network Information Center (KENIC) and the Kenya Institute of Management’s (KIM) Business Committee.

Kris Senanu

MD, Enterprise Division

George has 20 years’ experience working in the software development and telecommunications fields in Kenya, Uganda and the United States. Prior to joining the company, he was the Senior Manager for Enterprise Field Technical Services at Safaricom. He was also a Program Manager for Xerox Corporation in the United States. He has also worked for AT & T-Greensboro, North Carolina and JC Penny Store.

George Mokogi

MD, Carrier Services Division

Sundararaman serves as Telkom's Chief Finance Officer. Prior to joining Telkom, he was the Head of Finance – Financial Planning & Analysis at Safaricom Limited. He was also a key committee member in Finance, Consumer and Enterprise Business, Financial Services, Procurement Board and Project Management. Before joining Safaricom, he was a Director and CFO for Essar Telecom for 5 years.

Sundararaman Pattabiraman

Chief Finance Officer

John has over 20 years’ experience in the ICT and Telecommunications industry having served at senior management positions in Safaricom, Airtel Kenya and Telkom. While at Safaricom he worked for over 10 years rising from the position of Network Maintenance Manager to becoming its Chief Technical Officer. He was also awarded the Presidential Award of the Moran of the Burning Spear in 2011.

John Barorot

Chief Technology and Information Officer

Catherine’s portfolio boasts of twenty plus years’ experience in Human Resources Management with regional (Sub Saharan Africa) and industry experience within the ICT and Financial Service sectors.

Prior to joining Telkom, she was the Chief Talent Officer at Tigo, Tanzania. She has also headed the Human Resources functions at IBM Africa, Ericsson Kenya and Standard Chatered Bank. 

Catherine Olaka

Chief Human Resources Officer

Clare has over 20 years’ experience in the legal and regulatory environment in Africa, with demonstrable experience in formulation and successful implementation of strategy. Prior to joining Telkom Kenya, she was the General Manager for Regulatory Affairs, East Africa at Multichoice Africa for 5 years. She was also part of the team that shaped the policy during the digital migration.

Clare Ruto

Chief Legal and Regulatory Affairs Officer

George has ten years experience in the Public Relations industry in Kenya, with a focus on ICT. Prior to joining the company, George had worked with PR Agency Apex Porter Novelli, handling the East African Community portfolio. He has also worked for the Access Kenya Group, in its Communications, Sponsorship and CSR function. He is a member of the Public Relations Society of Kenya.

George Mlaghui

Chief Corporate Communications Officer

Mr. Ramji serves as Telkom's Transformation Manager. Prior to joining Telkom, he held the position of COO in an acting capacity at Smart East Africa, Tanzania. Farouk has over 7 years’ experience in Project Management having also been the Project Manager at Smart East Africa. Before this, he was a Project Specialist and a Project Portfolio Manager at Roshan in Afghanistan.

Martin Kariuki

Martin Kariuki joins Telkom as Director, Sales and Distribution.

Martin has over 17 years’ multinational experience in Sales, Marketing & Brand Management, Portfolio Management and Strategy & Business Planning. His experience covers the advertising, financial and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to joining Telkom, he was Principal, Portfolio Operations at Fanisi Capital Limited, a position he held from 2015. 

Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agri-Business Management from Egerton University, and is also a CPA IV holder from Strathmore University.
